RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking Pediatric Endocrinologists Across New Jersey!
RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Health are seeking full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Endocrinologists for opportunities across Central and Northern New Jersey. Successful candidates will join established teams providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care throughout New Jersey’s largest academic healthcare system.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, candidates may participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities for faculty appointments, clinical research, scholarly activity, quality improvement, and community outreach are also available based on experience, qualifications, and practice location.
Available practice locations include New Brunswick, Livingston, and Newark, with clinical services provided at:
- The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
- Rutgers Child Health Institute of New Jersey
- Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
- Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
Opportunity Details
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric endocrinology care
- Participating in shared inpatient consultation and call coverage
- Diagnosing and managing diabetes and other pediatric endocrine conditions
- Collaborating with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participating in clinical research, scholarship, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community education and outreach programs
- Contributing to the continued growth of pediatric endocrinology services across the system

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree, or equivalent
- Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and medical education
- Academic qualifications appropriate for faculty appointment, when applicable
