Description
Hello,
Pathways to Potential is a new group practice that will open in November 2025. There will be opportunities for 2 full-time compassionate and skilled LP’s to join and gain experience in individual counseling, group counseling, assessment and diagnosis. Part time will also be considered (all LP’s need at least one year of field placement practice, although two is preferred). The practice will treat adults only, and clinicians can provide flexible services in the evenings and weekends if interested. All LP’s will receive supervision weekly and as needed, as well as other indirect hours such as during virtual team meetings and in-house trainings to help fulfill requirements. There will be paid training opportunities, and the practice will provide an annual stipend for each member to market and establish themselves online, and support/coaching for marketing will be provided as well.
The group practice provides person-centered, recovery-oriented virtual teletherapy services to a full range of DSM diagnoses, including depression and anxiety, ADHD, as well as spectrum disorders. We also focus on whole-health, meaning a focus on how physical and mental health are interlinked, with a collaborative approach with client medical providers when possible. There will be a special focus on teamwork and collaboration among counselors in the practice. There may also be opportunities to treat patients in person over time if that is an interest.
As supervisor I have over 16 years experience providing supervision (psychology interns/externs, social work interns, and counseling field placements) within hospital outpatient settings, particularly dealing with complex populations. Supervision will focused on a combination of Health Psychology, Humanistic, and Solution Focused Approaches.
If you are interested, please submit a short statement of interest/experience and a CV to dr.jon.marrelli@gmail.com, or if you have questions feel free to reach out. Bilingual candidates, those with certifications or particular interests in specific modalities, and those experienced working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations are especially encouraged to apply.
