Overview
Provide administrative support to Human Resources by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, answering telephone calls, and scheduling meetings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheets, database, or other presentation software, etc.
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for consideration and presentation.
- Greet visitors and callers and determine if they should be given access.
- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, etc.
- File and retrieve documents, records and reports.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
- Coordinate annual morale events and activities.
- Manage uniform program.
- Perform necessary audits.
- Create folders for new hires.
- Perform employment verifications.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required. College degree in business preferred.
- Three to five years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
- Discretion and maturity required to maintain confidential information.
- Intermediate computer skills required; Outlook email, Word, Project, Excel.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally on the telephone and in person.
- Must be bilingual, (fluent in english and spanish).
